JORDAN LISICKY

Jordan Lisicky (they/them) is an artist and occasional art director. Originally from Baltimore, they have since moved to New York and earned a BFA in Illustration from the School of Visual Arts. Jordan previously worked as a teaching assistant and aspiring technician at RisoLAB and currently works at the Society of Illustrators, where they manage MoCCA Arts Festival, oversee competitions, and support the exhibitions team. In 2023, they contributed to Mike Mignola’s Picturing Pinocchio exhibition and more recently assisted with Worm: A Cuban American Odyssey, a retrospective of Edel Rodriguez’s work. A jack of all trades, Jordan enjoys a good spreadsheet, has experience in graphic design and animation, and has contributed to museum curation and visitor services.

Jordan LOVES collaboration, whether that be brainstorming character ideas for a short story or working together on a comic anthology. When they are not developing their own dark yet whimsical stories of medieval-fantasy, Jordan searches for artists that inspire them and daydreams of how to utilize them in future projects. Jordan enjoys collecting little figures, playing polygon RPG games, and working on a non-existent gender studies essay.
